How the trial and billing work

The free trial

When Astuzo launches, you start a 7-day free trial from the app, using the App Store (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play (Android). Your subscription starts at the end of the trial unless you cancel. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged. The store shows the exact date and its timing rules before you confirm.

Paying through the store

Your subscription is billed by Apple or Google, like any other app. You don’t give Astuzo your card details, and the store handles receipts and any applicable taxes.

Cancel anytime

Cancel in your phone’s subscription settings: on iPhone or iPad, in Settings under your name, then Subscriptions; on Android, in the Google Play app under Payments and subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Monthly or yearly?

The yearly plan works out to about $8.33 a month, so it’s the better deal if your child will use Astuzo through the school year. Monthly is best if you’d like to start small.

Refunds

Because payments go through the App Store or Google Play, refunds are handled under their refund policies. We’re happy to help: email support@astuzo.ca.

More than one child?

One parent account can hold several child profiles. We’ll confirm exactly how plans work for families with more than one child before launch.
