Delete your account in the app
- Open the parent area. It’s behind a grown-ups gate: press and hold for 3 seconds.
- Choose Delete account.
- Confirm. If you sign in with an email and password, enter your email and your password, then confirm three times. If you sign in with Apple or Google, type DELETE.
Ask us to delete it without the app
Email support@astuzo.ca from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Astuzo account”. We’ll confirm the request comes from the account owner, and we’ll reply within 30 days.
What happens next
- Your account is turned off right away.
- It’s permanently deleted after 30 days.
- Changed your mind? Within those 30 days, you can cancel the deletion by emailing support@astuzo.ca.
What we delete
- Your parent account.
- All your children’s profiles.
- Their homework session history.
What we keep
- Subscription and purchase records we need for tax and accounting.
- Copies already held by our service providers follow those providers’ terms. The privacy policy lists each provider and what it keeps.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel in the store you bought through.
- iPhone or iPad (App Store): Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Android (Google Play): open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Delete only some of your data
- One child’s data: in the parent area, choose the child, then Remove. This deletes that child’s profile and homework history.
- Session text (the problems, hints and conversation) is deleted automatically after 90 days.
