# Astuzo

> Astuzo is an AI homework tutor app for Canadian families, starting with Ontario, Grades 3–6 math. A child photographs their homework and Spark, a friendly cyan robot tutor, helps with hints and guiding questions, never just the answer. Parents get a report after every session. Astuzo is in pilot and not yet in the App Store or Google Play; the website offers a waitlist.

Key facts:

- Audience: parents of children in Grades 3–6 in Ontario, Canada. More grades, subjects, provinces and French are planned.
- Curriculum: built around The Ontario Curriculum, Grades 1–8: Mathematics (2020). Astuzo is independent and not affiliated with the Ontario Ministry of Education or EQAO.
- How it works: snap a photo of a question or a whole worksheet (including drills), get hints instead of answers, answers are checked, voice input and read-aloud, a parent report after every session.
- Accounts: the parent owns the account; children have simple profiles (first name and grade) with no email or password.
- Privacy: homework photos are processed and never stored; session text is kept for 90 days, then deleted; no ads; no data sold. Some processing uses US service providers (listed in the privacy policy).
- Planned pricing at launch (CAD): $12.99/month or $99.99/year, with a 7-day free trial through the App Store or Google Play; cancel anytime in the store.
- Status: pilot. Coming soon to iPhone and Android. Not available to download yet.
